Slide Henry Jackson Newcomb is an artist, musician and digital creative based in Norwich. His own artistic practice includes video, sound and drawing. HJN founded non-profit arts organisation SAVORR in 2011 and working with a small artist-led group exhibited over 250 artists in 25 exhibitions and events. HJN currently works as Arts Manager for The Assembly House Trust, organising exhibitions, events, and talks. From 2020-2021 these events were held online, with free events live streamed worldwide every other week for 13 months. In 2021 HJN launched a record label, I Travel to You. The output so far has included solo and collaborative projects, and more recently music from other producers too. With Jonathan P. Watts, HJN co-launched LOWER.GREEN, a contemporary gallery in Norwich. The gallery was open from July 2018–March 2019 and hosted eight exhibitions, as well as talks, events and a residency.
